The Event, which was held from November 2nd to 4th at the Jeddah Centrefor Forums and Events, owned by the Jeddah Chamber, saw thousands of visitors fromacross the country walk through its doors, an indication of the real estatepotential in KSA.

Held under thepatronage of His Royal Highness Prince Misha’al bin Majed bin Abdulaziz,Governor of Jeddah, the Event brought together over 50 exhibitors who unveiled dozensof new projects from across the property spectrum, thereby successfullystimulating real estate development and investment in line with Saudi Arabia’sVision 2030.

“The success ofthis year’s Event reveals the dedication of local investors, developers and realestate professionals to advance the industry in the country,” said Mr. HusseinAlHarithy, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of National Exhibition,organisers of the Jeddah Urban Development & Real Estate Investment Event.“This dedication to the industry is made possible due to the steadfast demandfrom the country’s population for attractive real estate offerings. Exhibitors atthis year’s Event hailed the show as an achievement for the real estate sectorin the country.

Adding to theoverall success of the exhibition, this year’s one-day workshop, sponsored byKohler, was a resounding triumph with over 200 senior real estate professionalsand investors in attendance. Speakers and visitors to the workshop were eagerto discuss, debate and learn about the current state and outlook of the realestate market, especially in light of the government’s path to economicdiversification.

For CarlosSalas, Regional Director for Crystal Lagoons, who attended the workshop, therewas a clear understanding of the market.

Nezar Awayda, ChiefSales and Marketing Officer for Jabal Omar Development, agreed. “If you are aplayer in any capacity within the property development segment, I wouldrecommend you be part of this Event,” he said.

Coupled with asuccessful workshop, the Event also saw the coveted Real Estate Awards Jeddahwith over 70 attendees. The awards paid tribute to top local projects fromdevelopers and architects who are making a difference in the real estate sectorand contributing to the country’s Vision 2030 plans.
